President Ranil's focus on making the 'ves thattuwa' as a national treasure

Traditional upcountry dancers met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (07) at the President's House in Kandy. The discussion aimed to designate Ves Thattuwa as a national treasure.

The traditional dancers and artists directly presented their concerns to the President and engaged in a fruitful discussion. During the conversation, the President assured prompt attention to the challenges faced by traditional dancers.

The Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Namayakkara, the National Security Advisor and Chief of Staff to President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Sagala Rathnayake and Palitha Range Bandara, the General Secretary of the United National Party, were present at the event.
